Cross-Divisional Clash

I wanted to point out an interesting little tidbit before I start my recap, no more league switching as of now. You're stuck with the team you're currently with, good luck ladies and gentlemen I hope you made the right choice. Also note, week 10 is the last week to have new players join up. There are a few intriguing outcomes from last week I would like to discuss. The most interesting team is FR, they were brushed aside by ICA and it's hard for me to determine what their worth is anymore. They've had only two challenging match-ups thus far and have failed miserably. What will happen this week for FR? Hopefully it isn't a repeat of week 6 but we get to find out soon... SPS stepped up this week, sure two games were credits but they won regardless. DS played about as well as I expected, one game was a timer win for LPL, Chele needs to be more careful calling players. Careless captaining could be one of the minor reasons DS is sitting near last place :(. PFN opened a can of whoop-ass week 6 shellacking T8B 6-0, it isn't much of a surprise PFN has been acquiring a team that on a good day can beat anyone.

Cross-Divisional Record:
Eastern: 6 wins Western: 8 wins

Cross-Divisional Match-ups
-----
FR vs BNR, Monday @6pm, Room: Beetle Spot

FR lost a KEY match last week vs ICA they are now setting in 3rd. Corey needs to show this week with a serious team if he wants to win against BNR. FR showed with what looked like backups last week. Sure it's good to get players eligible for the playoffs but you cant expect a win against an undefeated team with your backups. ICA threw salt in FR's wound last week, don't expect Corey to come out with his tail between his legs this week. Hopefully Corey learned his lesson, I say he brings his big boys and we get to watch a thrilling match.

BNR can do no wrong. They are sitting at 6-0, they throw in whoever they want and win. Stu "retiring" is going to hurt BNR though. He was a corner-stone on their team. I don't expect a huge problem though they still have the Shark, Cerebro, and Lucky. That's 3 wins right there and one of those guys can carry ftw! Ross will bring a crew that will hold up strong vs the weaker FR team but I think we will see a SHOCKER, the underdog takes it!!
Outcome: 4-2 FR

T8B vs SPS, Wednesday @7pm, Room: Afraid to Lose

This is a key week for Jordy, he has been burned almost every week thus far. Going into the back stretch he needs to step it up. His team is 4 games out with 7 to go... If he doesn't start picking up wins he is doomed. I know that sooner or later they will start picking up some wins and this is their best chance.

Jason has done well in WSOP. He picked up a key win last week vs MIB evening up the records. SPS has showed with a full team every week and that is partially why they won last week. Jason smells the playoffs and with this weeks win he could take the lead on MIB. This match will be close, the skill-level is even but Jordy shows with 5 and lose a close one.
Outcome: 4-2 SPS

DS vs MIB, Thursday @6pm, Room: A Face in the Crowd

Chele, this is the time to win! MIB came in last week with only 4 players. DS shows week in and week out with a full team, Chele does well to bring a team to the table she just needs to work on calling them. Sometimes it's better to put a team timer on waiting to get a hold of a player than to call someone that will timer out. Careless decisions like that are partially why DS aren't reaching the next level. I hear she has a new player... With any luck this player will preform well.

Rich it seems has given up on WSOP. Showing with 4 players in a match that was key is sad. He needed to win vs SPS to shut them out of the playoff spot MIB is currently holding. The door is now wide open and the vultures are smelling blood. IF Rich doesn't bring a full team this week it is certain he will lose his slim grip on the playoffs and spiral out of control.
Outcome: 4-2 DS

Western Divisional Match-up
-----
LPL vs ICA, Tuesday @7pm, Room: Under Pressure

LPL has had some interesting things happen to them recently. Anthony stepping down from captain and then leaving ypool all together was quite intriguing. The reasons behind it are unknown to me but it will certainly be a big factor in LPL's future. I don't think they will win this match ICA is too strong for LPL in WSOP.

Shan and Nish have done well for ICA. Destroying FR last week has put them one step closer to sealing up 1st seed going into the playoffs. Nish, Shan, Trey, Craig, and more are a deadly threat. It's interesting though, none of those players listed will blow you away on the table but somehow they have gotten the job done. With a 6-0 record the back stretch doesn't look too grueling for ICA, watch out BNR you guys are going to have your hands full in WSOP finals =D. Hopefully I didn't jinx you ICA, besides a good ole jinx nothing can stop ICA.
Outcome: 4-2 ICA

Eastern Divisional Match-up
-----
DPP vs PFN, Wednesday @6pm, Room: I'm Gonna Crawl

Well DPP has fallen far from their name. They haven't brought enough players to be dangerous in WSOP and it will not continue this week. A birdie told me that the 2nd have will not have DPP in it. Tom has given up on his league and the WSOP admins have as well. PFN wins this with 6 credits, sorry for the waste of time =(.
Outcome: 6-0 PFN
