Playoff Finale

Finals are here ladies and gentlemen. I am excited to see how season 2 finishes up. I am curious to see if DS can pull off a magical season. DS has had the best single season turn-around in WSOP's short life. I suspect they want this championship more than any other team in this inter league. Chuck and Chele will be prepared for this week after an amazing victory in round 2. SS on the other hand thumped the league favorites LPL. Pita and company have been keeping the victories coming as of late. I didn't think they could beat a LPL team that was short players let alone a full roster. Jon is going to carry this team to victory in at least one match in the best of 3.

There is one other match worth talking about this week. The match should be named the consolation cup. BNR and LPL battle heads in a East vs West showdown. This match decides 3rd and gives the winner a place in WSOP history. IF LPL shows with any heart left this should be good. Look to see BNR take 3rd more seriously and provide LPL with back to back playoff losses. The outcome is 4-2 BNR.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CHAMPIONSHIP
----
Match 1:
-SS(6-4) vs DS(6-4), Monday @7pm, Room: A Face in the Crowd

This game will be a battle, they did not play this season so there isn't anything to gauge where either team will match-up vs the other. SS has Nick, Pita, Nhan, and most importantly Jon. Jon just took down Ant in a huge game 7. He has the hot hand and I'm sure he will carry that into this week. Look for a possible game 7 in this first match because both teams match-up so nicely. SS needs to play carefully if you allow DS to attempt some runs you can clean up the tables. In retrospect DS has done a good job playing smart in the playoffs. SS, you just need to keep doing what your doing. Clearly something is going right with this team so keep up the good work and you will succeed tonight.

DS has gone far beyond expectations. Do I think they are a great team? No, I think they are a very good team. Players like Trey, Chuck, Corey, and most importantly Cam have the potential to beat anyone. Match-up Jon vs Cam, Trey vs Nick, and Corey vs Pita. Those 3 matches would be epic nail biters. I could see a lot of close games coming out of SS and DS. I do have to sway with SS in this particular match though. SS has home field and much more inter league playoff experience.
Outcome: 4-3 SS

WSOP Rd 2

Well after Rd one the field is down to 4 teams. Tonight is a huge match. The winner walks away with the East. Before we get on with the predicting I would like to do a recap of the trophy winners so far.

WSOP East Champs - BNR
WSOP West Champs - LPL
WSOP Reg Season Champs- LPL

WSOP MVP- Ant and Kevin

Congratulations Anthony and Kevin on winning WSOP MVP you guys deserve it after going 8-0 this season. I also want to congratulate BNR and LPL on their great records. Last but not least people, congratulations are in order to SS and DS for making it into Rd 2 both of you proved why you deserve to be in the playoffs with resounding victories. OK OK OK OK... on with the predicting.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EASTERN MATCH
----
BNR vs DS, Wednesday @ 7pm, Room: Welcome to the Jungle

BNR pulled out a massive turn around from where they were earlier this season. After their rough defeat at the hands of BP they brought in some key players and that carried them to their 2nd Eastern title. I wouldn't expect nothing less from Dina and Chip. They have gone through a lot together. I suspect that BNR with players like Jordy, Croz, Chip, and company can handle almost anyone on the Eastern side. I am worried though, Chip has some tough decisions to make. Who will he match against DS' greats. IF Chip can carry his team like he did week 10 he might not need to worry much about this match. Will the pressure of the playoffs effect BNR? I suppose we will soon find out.

Chele, your DS team took down a solid 8BC team that decided to stop showing up for games week 7. How fitting is it to have Chuck put the last knife in 8BC. Will that happen with BNR? I am not too positive. Chele has a far more challenging lineup Rd2 than she did Monday in Rd 1. Roy needs to play carefully like he did earlier this week if they expect to win. Every man on DS is key here, looking back DS barely won in a game 7 against BNR before BNR added some depth. DS lost last week in a game 6 that decided who would be top dog in the East. Chele tastes revenge could she pull off the upset here?
Outcome: 4-3 BNR

WESTERN MATCH
----
LPL vs SS, Thursday @7pm, Room: Under Pressure

LPL needs to show tonight and next week. IF they can show with the full quality and depth of their lineup there is no doubt in my mind they take WSOP. This all depends on how much this team wants to win. Ant and Kevin you can pretty much count on for tonight but what about next week? Looking back on LPL's past week-day playoff history most recently in MLP they fell short on players that cost them a game 3. There has been more than one week this season LPL has shown with less than 6. Who shows Tino? I say they cant scrounge up 6 but still win with 5.

Jon that crazy canuck is doing his fair share for this SS team. Pita and company steamrolled PFN like they were nothing. Players like Mina, Jamie, and James. That kind of lineup was put to shame by SS. I think they could very well make a run and keep this match-up close. Jon needs to play like he did in the All-star match. Nick needs to keep up doing what he is doing. Home field will affect SS though. Without the advantage of arranging match-ups will tip the scale in LPL's favor.
Outcome: 4-3 LPL, the match goes to game 7 because LPL fails to show with 6.

WSOP Season 2 Finale!!

What a wild few weeks. I cant wait until next week for the playoffs. This week has some key games in both divisions. IF PFN beats SPS by one more than SS beats SPS they have the tiebreaker edge to take home field round 1. Looking at the East, the playoff order still is up for grabs. I suspect that whoever wins the DS/BNR match will most likely catch the round 1 bye. 8BC has a tall order if they expect to beat LPL. 8BC could shock though especially if LPL shows short like they have been recently.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EASTERN MATCH
----
BNR vs DS, Monday @6pm, Room: Welcome to the Jungle

BNR has a perfect opportunity to go back to back seasons as the Eastern Champs. That's going to be just a bit of pressure, I really don't think it will effect them though this week. Chip and Dina have a lot of determination. They want to win this BADLY, how badly? well, they brought in some players midway through the season which was the sole reason they are now the top dogs. Recruiting is key people, BNR is the perfect example of why mid-season recruiting can change a season around.

DS has made it to the show. Last season they finished at the bottom but this season is another story. Chuck brought in Corey and Cam and those two characters are a big reason they made it. I do think that making it isn't enough for Chuck. He wants to shove-it down BNR's throat by taking their round 1 bye just in the nick of time. Does DS have the talent to take down BNR? Yes but home field will be a factor and can Cam keep his hot head in check?
Outcome: 4-2 BNR

WESTERN MATCHES
----
PFN vs SPS, Monday @7pm, Room: Bad Times

Well with the acquisition of James from BP, PFN is in position to make a deep playoff run. The question is, can PFN hold up to LPL when they meet Round 2? Yes, I am looking past SS, sure SS has a lot of great players but thus far this season they have not cracked the win column against PFN. Two meetings thus far and PFN is 2-0. Oh, I am sorry I am supposed to be doing predictions about the current match. Basically PFN thumps SPS in the season finale and takes home field round 1 of the playoffs.

This season has been forgettable for Jason. He lost some players and left his team worse than last season. They have digressed in quality of player over WSOP's short history. Last season they barely missed out on the playoffs while this season they were thumped around and treated like a rag doll. I think Jason will turn this all around but it wont be vs PFN and it sure as heck wont be done this season.
Outcome: 5-1 PFN

Week 9: West Set, East Heating Up

After a very wild week 8 we have the teams set in the West. LPL has locked in their round 1 playoff bye, PFN's home field is at stake though. SS doesn't have the tiebreak against PFN but w/l is also a contributing factor. PFN could lose home field round 1 but there is still plenty of factors in that. Basically LPL, PFN, and SS have locked in their tickets to the playoffs. On the Eastern side it's a whole different beast. The playoffs could be decided in the final week.

The games to look for this week are BNR vs 8BC and SS vs FR. These two games will be huge, DS just got a easy win because BP withdrew from WSOP. BP would have been a huge factor in the East but withdrew because 2 players were boxed in the last minutes before week 8 started. That put their lineup short of 6 and was enough to justify backing out of WSOP. Their departure is saddening to WSOP but I am sure James, Andy, Ben, Chuck, and the beautiful Dina will continue on. We have the playoffs just around the corner people!! The East is still very much wide open so keep an eye out for DS, BNR, FR, and 8BC. 8BC has pretty much locked in the playoffs but what spot they finish in is all up to this weeks match. there is a lot to look forward to so lets get on with the predictions.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EASTERN MATCHES
----
BNR vs 8BC, Monday @6pm, Room: Welcome to the Jungle

BNR needs to keep doing what they are doing. Sure, last week was a freebie win vs BP but this week is far from that for BNR. 8BC is sitting on top of the East, it might not be a large margin, but it's enough to turn some heads. BNR needs to show up to this game with all guns blazing. Jordy needs to be on form here. The other players BNR added will also be big factors here. I think that BNR is riding a winning wave that wont stop this week. It's the wave that never ends, it goes on and on my friend....

8BC is coming off a crucial loss to FR. Sean needs to turn the winning ways back on. This team is still in the best seat to make the playoffs but with BNR and LPL to play, could they miss out on the playoffs? It's a possibility at the rate 8BC is currently going. Sean and company need to step up HUGE here. 8BC doesn't have the depth BNR has and I think that will be their downfall.
Outcome: 4-2 BNR

Monday, November 15, 2010

Week 7: Eastern Division Heats UP

Wow, what polar opposites the last 2 weeks have been in WSOP. One week has a record number of game 7's while the next has decisive wins early. The one match that ended very close was the PFN/SS match. SS pushed it to game 7 with great play from Jon but they fall just short with even better play from Jamie. PFN showed they are one of the best in this inter league. 8BC also proved they were the undisputed Kings of the East. Speaking of Kings, these wannabe Latino Legends seem to rip up all the competition. LPL has won every single match-up and sits atop the West with a record setting 33-3 w/l. The Western Division has separated and the playoff spots are almost locked in. IF SPS can pull off a magical win against SS this week then that last spot might still be up for grabs.

Glancing at the East you can easily see that the above stated 8BC holds a somewhat firm grasp of the East with FR following right behind. I suspect FR will hold that 2nd spot leaving the 3rd spot. BNR and DS are deadlocked this week BNR can show their contenders if they pull out a win against FR. Sean and Petey both have the opportunity this week to stomp the ass-end of the East. IF DS and BNR can pull off wins this week all the Eastern Playoff spots are still within reach of all the teams. BP is the only team in the East that has a uphill battle to achieve a spot in the show. Hopefully after this week we will have a better idea who is going to be in for the championship run.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EASTERN MATCHES
----
BNR vs FR, Monday @7pm, Room: Welcome to the Jungle

What a great way to kickoff week 7. BNR is coming off a monster win vs SP who has yet to pull off a win this season. Chip recently acquired a friendly ghost, Joe, and Croz. The guys just mentioned will bring BNR back to real playoff contenders in the East. BNR's depth is clear but FR also has quite a challenging team. This match-up will have immense playoff implications. BNR lost the last meeting and the added players along side of Chip and Jordy should at the very least push this to game 7.

Petey showed BNR who the better team was earlier this season in week 3. Could a similar outcome occur? I wouldn't put it past FR. Ebs seems to be playing fairly solid along with the always talented Ben, Petey, and Travis. Matt is always a factor as well, he normally has the closing duties. Matt tends to do well in those situations aside from his last game 7 loss which was a rb. I wouldn't be surprised if Matt gets another nod this week in a game 7 vs BNR. FR and BNR have been long time rivals there is surely tension here. The emotions will be high this week and people will surely run their mouths.
Outcome: 4-3 FR

DS vs 8BC, Wednesday @7pm, Room: A Face in the Crowd

Chuck recently posted he is backing down from IL's for DS after this season. That will be a big blow to Roy and Chele who have relied on him over the seasons. That news has to upset the applecart. I suspect that DS fields a decent team but does not meet the expectations they set for themselves this week. 8BC has the hot hand and with the news from Chuck and the recent shellacking they experienced in week 6 I am not seeing good things ahead in their future.

Sean has far exceeded my hopes of him this season. He is carrying the 2nd best record in WSOP and that is all in part to his superb record and his teams great overall play. They just seem to pull matches out. I have high hopes for this lineup. I would love to see the early underdogs shine. Can this team match-up against a outrageously good LPL team? We will find out in the final week. Until then 8BC just might have to keep trucking along with the W's. Soon enough the rest of ypool will see this team has something special.
Outcome: 4-2 8BC

WESTERN MATCHES
----
SS vs SPS, Wednesday @7pm, Room: All Mixed Up

SS has been sub-par thus far this season. They went all the way to game 7 last week against the #2 team in the West but could not pull it off. Game 7 hasn't had a very good outcome for SS in their first season of WSOP. SS needs to win this week. SPS is one game behind them in the standings if they can pull off a win here they pretty much put a nail in SPS' playoff hopes. I wouldn't be surprised if this match ends in a landslide. SS has a lot to prove, they need to step up their talent is there but the production is lacking.

SPS your season has gone down the toilet. In 6 games this season you have won once. SPS has thee worst w/l in the league. There can be plenty of finger pointing but the bottom line is they just haven't gotten things done this season. SPS came on the scene last season with a strut in their step now they are waddling about like drunk ducks. Jason needs to muster-up enough strength to carry this team because there really isn't much else.
Outcome: 4-2 SS

LPL vs SP, Thursday @7pm, Room: Under Pressure

LPL has been tearing up the league. SP has been matched up with LPL already this season and LPL prevailed quite handily 5-1. Look to see something similar when LPL brings their big guns to the show. Ant is an alarming 5-0 along side Kevin. These guys both beat SP in week 4 and I suspect the same outcome this week. That leaves Chex or anyone else on that team to pick up a W. This team is strong through and through. IF they can show on a continual basis this season is pretty much in their hands.

SP you have fought long and hard but it just seems like this season wasn't in the cards. I suspect you will comeback next season with a passion. Pete will shock someone out of the playoffs but it wont be LPL. I cheer for the under dogs but this just cant turn out well for SP.
Outcome: 5-1 LPL

CROSS-DIVISIONAL MATCH
----
PFN vs BP, Wednesday @7pm, Room: Bad Times

Andy and company came into this week sharing a hold of the 3rd best record in WSOP. That interesting statistic coupled with the raw skill they possess far out ways anything BP could bring to the table this week. Jamie is playing on form and right now they seem to be picking up just enough to get the game in Jamie's hands. Luckily for PFN, BP only has 2 good players. Andy just needs to win against the misshapen BP squad.

DJ needs to keep up his great play if BP has any hopes of succeeding. He can inspire his squad to succeed especially since he is doing his part. James is also a key factor in BP's lineup. After those two the line-up tends to taper off. PFN just needs to focus on the 2 stars of BP and this could be a blowout.
Outcome: 5-1 PFN

Monday, November 8, 2010

Week 6: Eastern Shakedown

What a wild bunch of game 7's last week. 4 Matches went to tiebreaker which was a record in WSOP. I am very surprised we had so many close games but the competition is high. I am not going to toot my own horn too much but WSOP in its 2nd season has surpassed quite a few other inter leagues. Look to see the close matches continue this season and carryover into the next. Recapping week 5 LPL hammered PFN, James pulled out game 7 vs FR, Sean carried his team with 2 wins vs SS, Jason pulled out SPS' 1st win of the season, and Cam squeaked out game 7 vs Jordy putting DS temporarily in the last playoff spot. On with week 6, no more league switching so hopefully everyone likes the teams they are currently on.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EASTERN MATCHES
----
FR vs DS, Monday @6pm, Room: Beetle Spot

Well this should be an interesting match winner of this takes sole possession of second place in the East. Aside from Cam and Corey can Chuck or someone else on DS step-up and help them against the very powerful FR team that has been slipping as of late. Freedom lost a heart breaker to BP with Trav getting ran broke he will be out for revenge in this match add Petey, Matt, and Ben beside him this should be a good one. FR will need to show they can shake off the last two weeks and get their ducks in a row. I don't think they will get out of their rut this week with a DS team that keeps chugging along.
Outcome: 4-3 DS

8BC vs BP, Monday @6pm, Room: Forward Somersault

8BC has some talent Sean has a perfect 5-0 record for 8BC and Reese at 4-0 is also very impressive. The only team that could stop 8BC at this rate is LPL. Sean has been doing wonders as a player and captain. His team is tearing up the East and if you just look at the records there is no way BP holds up. Sadly records aren't everything you have to factor in yahoo and some luck to boot. 8BC surely has the advantage though this week. BP pulled out a huge win last week against FR it has turned their season around. They now have hope and they are carrying that with them into this match. their heart should push this close but will it end well for BP?
Outcome: 4-3 8BC

CROSS-DIVISIONAL MATCH
----
SP vs BNR, Monday @6pm, Room: Adv Lounge 3

This match should be intense. Looking back on last week both teams lost game 7 tiebreakers. This week will not be so close. BNR has just acquired 3 new players to their team and those players will increase BNR's depth at just the right time to make a run at the playoffs. We are over the season hump and SP is still hasn't won a match. I cant see Pete winning this match either. Chip will captain BNR in this match and his leadership will be key here, they win this and odds are they separate themselves from the gutter aka BP. Look to see this match end close but not close enough for a decider.
Outcome: 4-2 BNR

EASTERN MATCH
----
SS vs PFN, Thursday @7pm, Room: All Mixed Up

SS has done just enough to keep their playoff spot in hand. They are lucky to have teams like SPS and SP in their division. Pita would love this win against rival PFN. SS hasn't been all that great when their big 3 step up they seem to win though. Nick, Tonz, and Pascal need to step their game up if they want a shot at winning this week. Andy and company are deadly they have hiccuped in recent weeks but this could be the time they shake off the rust.

Andy can you pull your team together? Chris out last week hurt PFN badly but don't worry about that now. Hopefully for PFN Jamie, Chris, and Andy can all make this match. Players like AJ and Kerry need to pickup a win as well if they want to slobber SS. I truly believe PFN has the advantage here. IF Jon shows for SS this match will definitely end in a game 7 decider.
Outcome: 4-2 PFN

Monday, November 1, 2010

Week 5: Western Clash, Cross Clash

Last week was a wee bit wild. DS shocked PFN 4-2, 8BC shocked FR 4-2, SPS and SP still cant pickup a win, and BNR handled BP 4-2. The match that stands out the most is the DS vs PFN match. PFN had a chance to tie it but Chris missed on the 8 subsequently FFing himself and getting boxed which will turn out huge later in my writeup. The other match that caught my eye was the FR vs 8BC match. Both teams were going at each others throats making it a mess of a match. Finally a victor was named and that victor took control of the East going into the halfway mark of the season. There are some key matches this week. 8BC vs SS is going to be a great match, it's SS' chance to get in the win column while 8BC gets to prove once and for all they belong on top. The last match that really pops out is LPL vs PFN, I think of all the teams that could challenge LPL it's PFN. Note: All league switching ends week 5.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EASTERN MATCHES
----
BP vs FR, Monday @7pm, Room: Back to School

BP is getting to the must win point! We are almost halfway through the season and they are sitting in the gutter. DS, FR, 8BC, and BNR are the teams gunning for the playoff spots. BP just seems to let their opponents walk all over them. I think BP is just short a couple key elements and they could shine. I am worried for BP, James is underachieving and there really isn't anyone else that you can put all your hopes on. Hopefully BP can pull off a shocker here but it's highly unlikely.

Ebs is doing a great job captaining. Sure they lost their first game last week but they are still firmly entrenched in the playoff hunt. Players like Petey, Ben, Trav, and Matt can push any match any match to at least game 7 (last week aside). FR might not have anyone on the leaderboard but they still are a formidable foe. Look to see them stomp on BP this week.
Outcome: 5-1 FR

DS vs BNR, Monday @7pm, Room: A Face in the Crowd

DS get mad props this week for defeating PFN. They handled them so well showing that the East might not be the pushovers I thought they were. DS and BNR are tied currently in the Eastern standings which makes this match even more exciting. The winner will temporarily hold the last playoff spot after this hump week. DS has players like Cam, Chuck, and Corey the three-headed C's who are the reason DS is favored in this match. They also have home-field which will be key.

Chip is doing a well enough job this season. Sure they aren't sitting in first like last season when Dina was captain but they don't have the same level of talent. Losing a slew of great players the last couple seasons has taken a toll on BNR. Luckily they have Jordy but he isn't enough. Ross has been slumping and that has hurt BNR. Chip seems to be the best on his team with a 3-1 record, he will need to continue that if he has any hopes of beating DS. This match will be close but not close enough for BNR.
Outcome: 4-2 DS

CROSS-DIVISIONAL MATCH
----
8BC vs SS, Tuesday @6pm, Room: Forward Somersault

Sean is tearing up the field as of late. Coming off a key beat down on the ex-division leaders FR. They will be coming into this match with guns blazing. IF Sean can continue winning in the fashion he is 8BC is a factor in WSOP. Rees is another important player for 8BC. Look to see this team match up well this week against SS. Hell, you guys even have home field advantage. Beware of Pascal, Pita, and Tonz though they are big threats on the SS side. 8BC don't rush your shots, play cautious, and you just might pull this off.

SS would technically be 2-1 and in the win column already if it wasn't for acquiring EC's record. They have had fairly easy match ups thus far so this will be a good time to gauge how well SS will do this season. 8BC has established themselves as one of the big boys so far but you also have to look at SS' past and you would know this isn't their first rodeo. Pita will call his players in the right situation against 8BC and push this match to a record 3rd game 7 in one WSOP week! Look to see Pita, Tonz, Pascal, and Jon over-power a well ran 8BC team.
Outcome: 4-3 SS

EASTERN MATCHES
----
LPL vs PFN, Wednesday @7pm, Room: Under Pressure

LPL is hands down the best team in WSOP. Their astounding 22-2 record has everyone hoping they don't have to play LPL. This week might present a problem for LPL. PFN is their dreaded rival and emotions might get the better of them. Do I really think that is going to happen? No, LPL has carried themselves to victory 4 times in a row and I'm not seeing that streak end this week. With a player like Ant on your team to win 2 games for you, it's hard to not get a victory.

PFN took a huge blow this week. They lost one of their staple players in Chris. He got himself boxed which puts a strain on Andy. Last week they were sorely defeated by DS and even with their star players. What will happen this week without one of the stars and a match up against a team that is undefeated? I don't think we need to look into a magic 8 ball to know that PFN isn't going to win this match.
Outcome: 4-2 LPL

SPS vs SP, Thursday @7pm, Room: Sweet Jane

Woohoo this match is epic. We have the battle of the win less teams. Jason hasn't quite met expectations he set for himself last season falling just short of the playoffs. Instead of achieving greater his team has gone as far backwards as humanly possible. They are sitting tied with SP for the worst record in WSOP. This season has been a utter disappointment and hopefully he can save face and win a game or 2 before its over.

SP has had a lot of close losses, they were thrown into the mix at the beginning of the season. Maybe they weren't prepared for the level of competition in WSOP who really knows. The fact is they are 0-4 and need a win here to salvage some kind of a season. Pete has his best shot this week against a mediocre SPS team the only problem is that his team has been mediocre as well :-s.
Outcome: 4-2 SP

Sunday, October 24, 2010

Week 4: Nothing Special

Reflecting on last week there were was only one game that really stood out as a shocker. I predicted SP to stomp BP but in reality it was the opposite. BP did a great job of putting up their first win and placing themselves in the playoffs if they started today. I know, it's sad that a losing record gets you the 3rd spot but this is the East we are talking about :-s. I suspect things to change though, we are only 3 weeks in (a 3rd of the way through). I am sure BNR and DS will rebound from their sluggish start. The West has opened up a can of whoop arse thus far this season. LPL and PFN are threats to be reckoned with. I feel sorry for SP and DS respectively they get the lucky draw having to face LPL and PFN, that is quite daunting. On with the predictions you all love so much!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EASTERN MATCHES
-----
BNR vs BP, Monday @6pm, Room: Welcome to the Jungle

Chip started off great but has had 2 rough games. Jordy can only do so much for BNR their team needs to step up. I'd like to say they can rebound here but who knows. Both teams have one good player and a bunch of decent players. This is really up for grabs, with home field BNR has a slim advantage especially since they beat BP yesterday in GIT. My money is on Chip and company this week.

BP rebound well after 2 rough losses handing SP their 3rd loss in a row and pushing themselves into the 3rd spot in the division. I suspect they will fall back into their rut though. James needs to show if they have any shot at winning and BP also has to hope DJ shows in form. There are a lot of variables when factoring in BP's chances of winning and I really don't think they can hold up here. This match will be close but BNR gets out of the losing column after this match.
Outcome: 4-2 BNR

FR vs 8BC, Wednesday @6pm, Room: Beetle Spot

This is the KEY match-up of the week. FR needs to squash 8BC like a bug to prove to all the doubters that they are the sole favorite to win the East. Ebs this is your time to shine, call your players carefully do what you guys did to LPL. FR has a very strong team they clearly proved that last night and if they come into this match with Ben, Petey, and Travis they shouldn't have a problem. 8BC plays carefully but they don't have the raw talent FR has.

8BC has done great this season. They have lost to only one team and that was right out of the gates. I call it a sluggish start, I think they have put things together and are a real threat in the East. IF they win this match it would catapult them into first. Sure the season is only a 3rd of the way completed but this is a very important match they will not face each other again til week 8 so bragging rights will last for some time. I feel 8BC will throw their hearts into this match but fail just barely. Home field, undefeated record, and a key win last night vs LPL will most definitely carry FR through this week and the season.
Outcome: 4-2 FR

CROSS-DIVISIONAL MATCH
-----
DS vs PFN, Monday @7pm, Room: A Face in the Crowd

Chele has done a great job captaining she has just fallen short the last 2 weeks. Look to see this happen again. They just acquired Cam but will that be enough? Corey cant always show and to be a real threat DS needs Corey, Cam, and Chuck. DS cant always put those big three in the lineup but if they can tonight DS has a good shot at beating the extremely strong PFN team. This could either be very close for DS or a blowout for PFN.

Andy has done a great job so far his team is sitting 2nd in the division with an undefeated record. Players like Jamie, Chris, Andy, and Mina can scare anyone. IF Andy can bring these guys to the match this week look to see DS get steamrolled. Do not look past DS though Andy, they have players that can beat your big boys on a good day. In the end home field will not matter for DS, PFN will win.
Outcome: 4-2 PFN

Pete needs to get a hold of his team. They are on a huge slide right now if they want to salvage this season they need to win today. What a time to be up against the wall. Pete needs to win this match and he has to do it against a team that has yet to lose this season. IF there was a time to play LPL it would be after they got 6-0'd by FR in WPC. Maybe Pete catches LPL with their pants down and squeaks out a win here. Do I really think that will happen? No but shit can happen.

Tino is doing a superb job thus far. He has his team tearing through everyone they face. Losing in WPC could carry over to WSOP if they aren't careful. Take your time, let SP run it first, and keep Ant in position to closeout the match. Captaining LPL is a cake walk, I suspect LPL rebounds in this match and continues their undefeated record another week.
Outcome: 5-1 LPL

SPS vs SS, Thursday @7pm, Room: Sweet Jane

SPS has been spiraling down the rabbits hole this season. They are like drunk ducks with a poor sense of direction. I can continue but I am sure analogies aren't enough to describe how poorly this team is performing. They sit in the cellar with the worst record in the league. Jason needs to snap his team out of this funk. He has lost a player or 2 recently and that means his depth is even worse than before. I do not see him beating SS this week, this should be a great moral booster for SS after losing last week to PFN.

Pita has been doing a great job so far this season. He has SS 1-2 (1 loss from a EC no show they acquired) and even though they lost a very ugly match to PFN last week their determined to beat SPS. Pita should have no problem with the task this week SS has very reliable players that can handle a team made up of bangers. I expect this match to end early. SS will start off strong and pickup the early lead and never give it back.
Outcome: 4-2 SS

Week 3: East's Beasts

I just want to officially welcome SS into WSOP. They took EC's spot at the last minute and pulled out a very close victory over SP. FR defeated DS in a well predicted close match, LPL showed their dominance defeating one of the top Eastern teams in BNR. PFN also took care of SPS handily in their 5-1 victory showing the league they are one of the big dogs. Last but not least, 8BC dominated BP's weaker squad in a match that would have blanked them if 8BC had all their players in WSOP.

Looking ahead to this week we get to see a bunch of great matches. Two of the three losers this week play each other and one has to walk away with a W. BNR and FR match up in a game that will prove who is the better Eastern team, 8BC and DS (two very evenly matched up teams) clash in what looks like another epic game 7 decider. LPL are smashing heads with the third 0-2 team in SPS and that match should be fairly simple to predict, PFN clash with SS in a long standing rivalry that should have plenty of excitement and lead changes. After all this talk, on with the predictions (check back if your match isn't posted today).

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CROSS-DIVISIONAL MATCH
-----
BP vs SP, Monday @6pm, Room: Back to School

BP seem lost this season, starting out 0-2 one match was very close but their most recent match was dreadful. They were missing a key player but one player isn't going to change a 1-5 outcome. This team needs to get their head out of their behind soon, this season is only 10 games long you cant come out sluggish and expect to take a playoff spot especially with 8BC and DS playing so well this season. Drew, DJ, Brandi, or whoever else is the captain needs to add a few players to this team if they expect to succeed in WSOP.

SP have started out very slow in WSOP but this should be their week to rebound. Playing SS and PFN respectively in the first two weeks could have any team 0-2. I am giving the advantage to SP in this weeks match because they have handled BP most recently in IPA and GIT. To me it seems like they just have BP's number. Pete continue what you have been doing in SP and you guys will get back into the playoff hunt.
Outcome: 5-1 SP

EASTERN MATCHES
-----
FR vs BNR, Monday @6pm, Room: Beetle Spot

Ebs has been doing a great job as her FR team is sitting atop the weaker Eastern division. FR is undefeated going into this weeks tough match with BNR. Ebs can thank Travis for pulling out last weeks win and she can thank Petey for pulling out week one's win. How many more game 7's can FR win? Who the hell knows but I surely am not betting against them. Petey and Ebs have brought in some great players and it really shows. They are making another run to the playoffs it seems like WSOP was built for FR.

BNR need to rebound after a tough loss to LPL who showed why they are the best in the West. Chip has a bunch of decent players and can match up well this week. This game will go very close but home field should be a key factor. Chip will try to start off strong against FR and this match will come down to who makes the least amount of mistakes. Can BNR rebound? will there be a shakeup in the standings? does this game go to game 7? NO, NO, YES!
Outcome: 4-3 FR

8BC vs DS, Tuesday @6pm, Room: Forward Somersault

Sean has been doing a great job of captaining 8BC thus far this season. In a weaker division like the East 8BC can flourish. Their team is solid sure they don't have any real game changers but that wont stop them. They match-up well with DS, this match will come down to the wire. I expect Sean to use home field to his utmost advantage and hopefully that little leverage carries his squad to victory.

Chele and Chuck are doing a great job of keeping DS in the heat. Last season they started off with a slew of losses before righting the ship. They were too late to do anything season 1 but splitting the first 2 games this season and adding some key players have really made this season quite intriguing for them. Corey will be key, if he shows DS could pull out a game 7 victory, if he doesn't the odds are they lose before they even get a chance to play game 7.
Outcome: 4-2 8BC

WESTERN MATCHES
-----
LPL vs SPS, Wednesday @7pm, Room: Under Pressure

LPL has been on fire thus far in WSOP. They did lose a key player this week with the move Cam made. Will that loss hurt LPL this week? No. They have such a strong lineup through and through one player will not make a difference especially against a team that hasn't picked up a win yet. This match should be a blowout in favor of LPL.

Jason, your team is starting off rocky. You have had some tough match-ups thus far and this week will be no different. LPL has such a strong talent up and down the lineup there is no way SPS can hold their own here. This match is pretty unfair, it's David vs Goliath and David doesn't have any rocks to throw this time. I would love to see a upset here but it just isn't going to happen.
Outcome: 5-1 LPL

PFN vs SS, Thursday @7pm, Room: Bad Times

Andy has his team undefeated thus far this season but he faces a foo in week 3 that could change that. PFN needs their key players in Mina, Chris, and Andy to have the edge in this match. Chris hasn't been playing amazingly lately but he still is a key factor in this match. Andy is a great captain and he knows when to call his players. I suspect this match to go down to the wire PFN's three-headed snake will need to be ready to rumble tonight.

Pita is running the show for SS and he is 1-0 as captain. SS' only loss is week one to LPL and it was only because they took over EC's spot. Pita has himself, Pascal, and Tonz as key players for his side. Look to see these guys shine tonight if they do SS might defeat PFN in a game 7 situation. This match is pretty even and it could go any way, my money is on PFN though.
Outcome: 4-3 PFN

Monday, October 11, 2010

Week 2

Well last week was a wild one. DS crushed BP in a very close match, PFN handled their long rival SP, 8BC lost to BNR, and FR pulled out a game 7 win vs SPS. Look to see this week go similar to last with close matches and intense action. One thing I would like to point out, we lost EC in the starting week which is very tragic. I talked with James the HA of WSOP and he said he is trying to work on getting a replacement. Until a replacement is named matches against EC will be considered a 6-0 win. On to the predicting, I am only posting the first 2 matches this week so please check back for the rest.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EASTERN MATCHES
-----
DS vs FR, Monday @6pm, Room:A Face in the Crowd

Chuck and company got a hard fought win last week vs BP. Corey pulled out a clutch game 7 run that made a clear statement, DS will not be pushed around this season. DS might not have a team that will blow you away but with a bunch of reliable characters they can catch a few breaks here and there to pull wins out like week 1. Chuck needs to be careful here though FR have a dangerous lineup that could prove too challenging this week.

Petey carried FR to victory this week with 2 wins. He showed that he isn't just a fly on the wall. Look to see FR come out strong early without home field advantage. They have Ben, Travis, Mikey, and the "closer" Petey. These guys can pull out wins but this match will surely come down to another game 7.
Outcome: 4-3 FR

BP vs 8BC, Tuesday @7pm, Room: All Right Now

DJ did a pretty good job coaching last week but he just couldn't pick up the W. Corey ran James off his break and sealed the victory for DS. I wouldn't be surprised if this match went down to game 7 as well. The great thing about WSOP is that ties are not allowed so the key players are important. Hopefully James can shake last weeks loss and step up to the plate this week. Drew, DJ, and the rest need to stay on form as well if they plan on evening out their record.

8BC played very well last week. I think their week one match could have gone either way. Tough breaks cost them big though and they are sitting in the same spot BP is. In a weak division like the East Sean can steal a playoff spot, I am excited to see if BNR was a fluke or if they really have the desire to be a great inter league team. This match will go fairly fast I think, both teams have runners. Look to see Sean and DJ start out strong.
Outcome: 4-3 BP

CROSS-DIVISIONAL MATCH
-----
BNR vs LPL, Monday @7pm, Room: Welcome to the Jungle

BNR is ran by a new general and his name is Chip. He did well last week beating a surprisingly strong 8BC team. Can he do it again this week without an all-star in his lineup? He is playing one of the favorites this season in LPL. I just don't think BNR can hold up against Ant, Daru, Cam, and company.

Tino you have a strong supporting cast brother. I am surprised after word got out Ant was going to leave I really thought LPL would crumble. It turns out Ant came back and you guys are flourishing now. Keep up the good work, last week you saw a freebie win but don't expect it to happen this week. BNR might not have a strong lineup but they will play very carefully and hopefully make this match closer than I am predicting.
Outcome: 5-1 LPL

WESTERN DIVISION MATCHES
-----
SPS vs PFN, Wednesday @7pm, Room: Sweet Jane

Jason is coming off a crushing defeat at the hands of FR. He played well in that match and decided to call DJ for the game 7 when he should have put his faith in himself. There will always be IF, AND'S, or BUT's-a loss is a loss. Jason has a tough road ahead of him if he plans on beating PFN this week. Now, in his WPC posts he claims SPS is just as good if not better than PFN I hope he can backup his talk tomorrow. In Jason's credit he really cares about this game and hopefully his heart and determination can get SPS their first win of the season.

PFN started off their season with a BANG beating a SP team that wasn't ready for Andy's squad. Will it happen again this week? I am certain this match will end in the same result as last week for PFN. SPS is strong and there is a lot of bitterness between the leagues so this should be a pretty heated match. Look to see Andy go crazy, throwing off his admin gloves and getting ready to rumble! Home field isn't a factor this week ladies and gentlemen.
Outcome: 4-2 PFN

SP vs SS, Wednesday @7pm, Room: Advanced Lounge 3

The battle of the 2 belated joiners. Pete was a late sign up and I was amazed he fielded a team last week on short notice. This week should have a better outcome for him with more time to prepare and get players eligible. SP is an enigma they do really well in some inter leagues and their bottom drops out in others. I really like Pete and I think he can field a team that will compete with the best the only trouble is the West is stacked this season. Every team in the West has the potential to make the playoffs but the problem is there are only 3 spots for 5 teams.

Pita is taking control of SS in WSOP. That right there should turn some heads. He has done well enough in WPC as a captain and should continue here in WSOP. With the tiebreak being a huge factor I see them squeaking out more wins than they have in WPC. Pita and company will push this match to the edge, this really is a tossup. I'm going with home field to pull out a game 7 clincher.
Outcome: 4-3 SP

Season 2!!!

I would like to welcome everyone back to WSOP. The 2nd season of WSOP will see a few changes. We have quite a few new admins this season and some new teams as well. Lets welcome Dina, Sharon, and Chuck to the WSOP admin team. I would also like to welcome 8BC, EC, and BP to WSOP. They will provide us with a bit more competition this season and hopefully one or more of these teams can take a playoff spot in their inaugural season. The rules this season haven't changed much, we added one thing to the site which is very important for all captains. Please look over the boxed player list on the main page of WSOP, this page will show all the players boxed each week. I hope everyone has a great season and lets all be respectful and have LOTS of fun.

Preseason Predictions:

#1-PFN-they take first with a solid team that is lead by 2 admins from WSOP.
#2-LPL-players like Ant, Daru, Tino, and much more... They would be first if they showed consistently.
#3-BNR-Dina has given her power to Chip, Chip will do a good job but will their lack of a big name (besides Kalpz) hurt their chances of success?
#4-FR-Petey and Ebs have lost a few players this season but gained some as well. Trav, Ben, Petey, and more could surely hold their own with any of the big boys listed above. FR's potential is high but can they make it to the finals again? I wouldn't count them out.
#5-BP-BritPool might be new to WSOP but they sure aren't new to inters. Brandi will captain this team well and are surely a lock to make the playoffs with players like James, Trey, and Pommy.
#6-DS-Chele had a rough WSOP season 1. This season should be much better they now have Corey. Look to see this team play well but fall short in a strong division.
#7-SPS-Jason experienced a rough loss in the last week of WSOP that cost them the playoffs. I think they will break through this season in a division that only has 2 teams that are stronger than SPS.
#8-8BC-Sean, I just don't know if you have what it takes in this league Bro. I am worried you will step-down before the season is even over. I suppose we will just have to see if you are worthy of my respect.
#9-EC-EC who? I didn't think you guys played inters anymore? You guys run a lot more tournies than your roommates but the talent level is lacking on your team. I hope you guys do well but I am not expecting it.
#10-MIB-MIB plugs along you guys made the playoffs last season but I don't think you will be able to contend with this level of competition.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CROSS-DIVISIONAL MATCH
-----
FR vs SPS, Wednesday @6pm, Room: Beetle Spot

Petey vs Jason what a EPIC match. Petey has the upper hand here with a solid team that are coming into this season with high expectations. Solid players like Travis, Adam, Petey, and Ben have very good talent. The only problem is how well will they play? Sometimes they show firing on all cylinders and other days they are just pushovers. Petey wont be pushed over by Jason in this match though.

Jason is still licking his wound from last season. Hopefully that wound is a reminder that he cant get lackadaisical against anyone in WSOP. Jason will bring a strong team but one that is missing the big names that are key under pressure. Sure he has solid players but none that scare anyone. Petey will use his home field advantage against Jason and will take the lead early and will not lose it.
Outcome: 4-2 FR

EASTERN DIVISIONAL MATCHES
-----
8BC vs BNR, Monday@6pm, Room: Forward Somersault

This is your chance to shine Sean. BNR doesn't have the big names it used to and potentially you could shock Chip's team. I honestly do not know much about 8BC besides the fact that they have Nigel and Sean. Could these guys amaze BNR and steal this early match? Highly unlikely but anything can happen.

Dina has immense trust in Chip she hasn't given up her captain role since she started roughly 8 years ago. Will she take it back if Chip starts off rocky? Maybe IF that were to happen, something I think to be impossible. Chip has players like Kalpz, Ross, and himself all of which can get him a win this week. I say they have the same outcome FR will have...
Outcome: 4-2 BNR

DS vs BP, Tuesday @6pm, Room: A Face in the Crowd

Chele had a rough season 1. She made some key mistakes that cost her some timer losses. I think she has learned from this and season 2 is her time to shine. DS will show where they stand in this match. If they can beat BP then they can go farther than I predicted them to go this season. Chele has Corey who can draw in some bigger names, he was apart of FR's run into the playoffs and now he determined to do it with DS. Look to see Chele call her players well and this match will end very close.

Brandi is a really good captain. She mostly sticks to weekend inters but she gets a chance to prove she isn't just a weekender. She is captaining in a tough inter league and she will relish the opportunity to prove why BP are going to make the playoffs. Brandi has Pommy, Drew, and James. These players can get Brandi 3 wins alone. Look to see Brandi start off slow but end this match neck and neck.
Outcome: 4-3 BP

WESTERN DIVISIONAL MATCHES
-----
EC vs LPL, Wednesday @7pm, Room: All Right Now

EC aren't very well known, they have been around for some time but aren't known for playing Inters. Will these introverts throw some punches at the strongest lineup in WSOP? negative.

LPL are going to be a threat to reckon with. They have a team that can beat anyone hands down. The only problem LPL have is running tournies to get players eligible. That laziness will cost them the first place seed but it will not cost them in this match. They will win this in 4 games and only show with 5 players.
Outcome: 5-1 LPL

PFN vs MIB, Thursday @6pm, Room: Bad Times

Andy will have no trouble this week. MIB who? that's what Andy is thinking. He will be able to throw in some subs week one. Players like Chris, Mina, and Andy should have this in the bag. I hope this match ends up close but I really cant see it happening.

I know Rich is no longer admin in MIB and that will effect their team. I am wonder if it will end up being a positive or negative. Rich pissed off a few players last season, namely Eddie. I am curious to see if Kris can bring in some players to actually make MIB a threat. I cant see it happening especially not week one.
Outcome: 5-1 PFN

WTG PFN

I would like to first start off with congratulating Pool Fiction for winning the inaugural season of WSOP. Great job captaining those matches Andy! On behalf of WSOP I would like to thank everyone for playing in our first season. Special shout outs too:Ben, James, Andy, Shannon, and Steve. They had to put up with a lot and we really appreciate their dedication to WSOP. Thanks to all leagues that joined; SPS, PFN, BNR, FR, LPL, DS, MIB, and ICA. I would also like to shout out to Drew, Nish, Petey, and anyone else I am spacing on for Reffing matches that admins could not make (please contact James if you have any interest in reffing season 2 id:l_lost_my_marblez). I would also like to thank Chele, Ebs, Corey, Andy, Dina, Rich, Jason, Trey, Nish, Shannon and any other captains that I left out.

The teams in for season 2 will be posted next week along with the admin staff for season 2. Congratulations again to PFN and a great 2nd place to FR. Thanks again for making this season sooooo much fun and thank you Nigel for taking the time to make our wonderful Trophies. I will have them posted as soon as the names are put in :). Thanks for reading my blog this season and I look forward to posting any hot news about WSOP shortly so keep a look out!

Championship Decider

Recapping last nights match, FR won 4-3 winning a very tough match pushing FR to the brink of playoff death. Ebs had the lead going into game 5. James and Andy were called by their respective teams and Andy went for the early run. He got himself stuck in a corner and missed his bank. James was left with an easy clear but he failed leaving Andy the easy finish. That made the match 3-3. Ebs called Saf who then ran the table on Jamie from PFN. That about wraps up match 2 leaving the series at a dead lock.

FR vs PFN, Wednesday @7pm, Room: Beetle Spot

FR have a good squad, they proved it last night. If they can catch a break or 2 again tonight they will surely steal this first season of WSOP. Freedom ran their fair share of tables this season and I would bet they do it at least once tonight. James has under performed along with Adam but these guys are bound to turn their streak of bad luck around at just the right time. It comes down to match #3. I think Ebs has her team in the groove, she could be carried by her great supporting cast to the crown.

Pool Fiction is a team you can never under estimate. The all-stars they carry on board will terrify anybody. I would have nightmares just thinking about a match up against a team like this. The only thing is can they do what they did match #1? PFN started out strong in both matches which is great but they allowed FR to keep the match alive to the very end. They are leaving game 7 up to chance. Andy you did a great job captaining yesterday and you shouldn't get discouraged by that defeat. Safdar played extremely well, it's not usual Jamie loses in a game 7. I think PFN starts off strong again taking a early lead only to watch FR tie it late. This will come down to a game 7 for the 3rd time. Look to see Jamie redeem himself and close out WSOP with a BANG!
Outcome:4-3 PFN

Tuesday, August 31, 2010

Finale Part 2

WOW, what a match last night PFN squeaked out a very key first victory. Ben got a timer win match 6 and was called for the 3-3 tiebreaker game 7. He tried a run and failed, Jamie cleared the table quite easily after that. The other key wins were Andy and Brock. Tonight's match should be just as exciting as the last but PFN will have a full 6 this time.

PFN vs FR, Tuesday @7pm, Room: Bad Times

Andy did a great job captaining after only bringing 5 to the table. He walked away with the victory and the key advantage, the pressure is now on FR to win tonight or go home with their heads hung low. Sharon will be their 6th tonight though and she could make the difference. This is scary, PFN with home field advantage... Do not be surprised if tonight's the last match of WSOP Season 1 with the lineup he brought last night pulling away with the W it is highly likely there will be similar results tonight.

Ebs did a great job captaining but it just wasn't enough last night. She had the match go to game 7, put all her faith in Ben and he tried his best. Ben's best just wasn't good enough against Jamie who can amaze anyone on a good day. Ebs needs to start out this match guns blazing, no time to mess around now. You need to call the big boys early, FR needs a early lead to put some pressure back on PFN. I suspect Ebs does just that and FR win big in game 7 this time!
Outcome: 4-3 FR

Monday, August 30, 2010

Finale Part 1

Last week was interesting... FR defeated ICA 6-0, ICA failed to show making FR's trip to the finals very easy. PFN on the other hand had to battle it out against a very strong BNR team who just couldn't get a win if their lives depended on it that match. So now we get to see a solid FR team match up against a very good PFN team lead by Andy. This match is a best of 3 so look for another prediction tomorrow.

FR vs PFN, Monday @7pm, Room: Beetle Spot

Freedom will bring a core of good players for this match. FR will most likely play Petey, Corey, Ben, James, and Adam + a 6th. That lineup is deadly and should be taken very seriously. These players can run tables on their good days. I wouldn't be surprised if FR shocks Andy right out of the gates. The only question is, can FR catch a couple lucky breaks and shatter PFN's 1st place hopes?

PFN is heavily favored in this match. They are coming in off a strong win and are going to bring the same lineup they wielded against BNR. Players like Chris, Mina, Andy, Jamie, Brock, and Travis. That's a very very strong team with plenty of playoff experience. This match could swing either way but my money is on Andy. He has a superb team that no one can dispute. This match will have a lot of running going on. The team that tries to snook the most might prevail here, sometimes it pays to be cautious.

Outcome: 4-2 PFN, Andy wins the 4th game after a 25 minute snookfest.

Division Championship

Last week was interesting. MIB was handled quite easily by PFN, Andy brought a strong team to the table and the result showed. Look to see Andy bring a similarly strong team this week the only problem is that he has to face a considerably stronger team in BNR. PFN and BNR both have solid teams so it should be exciting to see this match. FR was the other team to advance to this week. Corey brought a solid team but I think they wouldn't have moved on to the next round if Daru brought his big boys to the table. LPL was short quite a few players and it cost them their playoffs. I hope next season they can bring in a reliable crew or their going to experience yet another first round loss in season 2.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Eastern Division Championship
----
BNR vs PFN, Monday @7pm, Room: Welcome to the Jungle

Dina your team has carried you to this match, they have performed admirably. I am sure you are quite proud of them and rightfully so you sit atop the East. Players like Ross, Chris, Stu, Jordy, Chip, and the all powerful Kalpz give Andy nightmares along with any other team they face. The only thing that could damage BNR is if they start failing runs. Table running is key in this match if BNR can finish their runs they will breeze through this week but if they start failing expect Andy's squad to play very cautious and carry away the East Crown.

PFN have an equally strong team in Andy, Jamie, Brock, Chris, Mina, and Travis. This match will come down to who shows up with the biggest guns. I have a feeling Andy will show with his, will Dina? EEK, I can barely contain my enthusiasm. This will end up being a chess match with all the pieces left being Queens. Andy is a smart cookie and so is Dina, they have played each other numerous times and are surely going into this match with a game plan. I cant wait, this could go either way I will put my faith in the home-field advantage.
Outcome: 4-2 BNR

Western Division Championship
----
ICA vs FR, Monday @7pm, Room: Intermediate Lounge 2

Trey your team has the best record in WSOP, you did a great job running your league till you hit a couple snags recently. These snags are going to cost you WSOP and quite possibly ICA all together. I hear the ship is sinking and the water is about neck high. Trey is trying to keep ICA together long enough to finish out their current seasons but with school starting and a lack of internet a birdie told me he isn't showing tonight. There isn't much more to say here.

FR are looking to continue their amazing underdog storyline. I don't see it ending here especially after what I just stated above. Corey, Adam, Ben, James, Petey, and whoever else they decide to have showing will handle any no show with ease lol. With any luck ICA shows and we get to see an EPIC Western Division Championship but odds are this is going to be a landslide in favor of FR.
Outcome: 5-1 FR
